Sunday, January 1, 2006 the morning worship service of
ON FIRE FAMILY CHURCH (scroll down for more pics!)

with special guests Greg X. and Barbara Volz. We carried the service on our
LIVE CHANNEL, just for some new years fun, and that fact we love
pastors and churches!

Below are some shots from the first Sunday of 2006. ATWR always has many email responses, this one that really touched me:

Dear Pastor Tommy Fields, Dr. Mark, Alex, Greg & Barbara 

We listened and enjoyed, praising The LORD, with you on New Years Eve & New Years Day, until about 2 am (e.s.t.).  Participating by hearing through aroundtheworldradio.org   My wife, the kids and I were talking this morning about it being a New Years we won't forget.

This morning we decided to join you with the service at "On Fire Family Church" (through the internet) and when Pastor Tommy prayed welcoming everyone 'on air' we immediately felt included. (it was definitely something only He could do).  I thought of Paul who said 'he was with you in spirit'.  Colossians 2:5 

It was a great time of worship and we were touched by what Greg and Barbara said (as the LORD spoke through all of you) and ministered to us.  Everything said was a direct confirmation to what we have been hearing lately from The LORD!  (that is so amazing when HE does things like that).

Thanks for challenging us and encouraging us. May the LORD establish the work of your hands and give increase as you continue in 2006 to do everything HE wants through you HIS Body!

I told the church we are LIVE and "on the air" and, "...you have three seconds to show your enthusiasm to your international brothers and sisters . .

you can see the response of the church as I hold the mic out for Friends Forever to hear worldwide!

The first time I met Greg X., he came to a radio station I was on, KICK, Springfield, MO in 1978.

He had a reel to reel tape with him! It was Petra's "Washes Whiter than Snow" project, we play'd it LIVE on the air...before it was released...this was a great circle this weekend, we were LIVE again!

Special PROPS to Alex (atwr music director) and Rick (church music and tech director)...these are the two that pulled off our LIVE remote . . . .

. . . plus having the final farewell concerts "on the air". I thank you both for a life time!
